TESL Durham is a non-profit, volunteer-run affiliate of TESL Ontario representing English as a Second Language educators from various school boards, universities, colleges, and private organizations. 

We provide professional development through our Spring and Fall Workshops for instructors and work to enhance ESL learning environments and to promote standards in ESL education.

from the Durham Mental Health Services  will talk about "Post-traumatic Stress Disorder"
​in the classroom and beyond.
He will be discussing this topic and strategies for instructors to help manage this challenging mental health topic.

SUMMER BOOK SWAP AND SOCIAL

The time has again come for our annual Summer  Social Event. This year, we would like to have a fun and relaxing time with colleagues and friends. Just simply bring a book or books that you do not require anymore. If you would like to take a book that another member has brought, simply go ahead!

TESL Ontario is thrilled to introduce the newly registered professional designation for all TESL Ontario accredited members in good standing called Ontario Certified English Language Teacher or OCELT.
