Join the TESL-Durham Executive Team!

Are you looking for a way to get more involved with the TESL community?

Are you looking for an opportunity to share your enthusiasm and expertise?
Are you wondering how to expand your professional network?

Why not consider joining the TESL Durham executive team?

TESL Durham is currently seeking interested, committed individuals to join the executive team as Members at Large.

What to Expect as a Member at Large

As part of the TESL Durham executive, you will take part in the planning and delivery of our annual events. Specifically, you will need the availability to attend 3-5 planning meetings per year in addition to attending and assisting at our scheduled events. You will also have the ability to engage in future initiatives of the Chapter.

Members serve a three year term, with the possibility of re-election for an additional three years.

*All TESL Durham Executive members receive 10 hours of PD (required for accredited membership renewal). These roles are unpaid, volunteer positions.*

How to Apply

Beginning Spring 2017, all members will initially be elected as Members at Large. At our first Executive meeting, we will discuss our individual strengths/interests, vote in our core executive roles and discuss how we will approach the planning of our events for the upcoming year.

If you are interested in joining the TESL Durham Executive, please fill out and submit an Expression of Interest form (see file below) before our Spring Event . The Nominating Committee will review the applications and present the candidates to be voted in at the spring AGM.
