Co-author of Navigating the Intercultural Classroom (TESOL Press & NAFSA, 2019). An ESOL instructor since 1997, Tuula currently teaches workplace communication skills courses at Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and in a career bridging program at College Boreal Toronto campus. She is also a LINC Home Study Canada instructor. She is one of the learning consultants who created in collaboration with the Touchstone Institute the Ontario based intercultural curriculum framework 360° View of Communicative Competence at Work https://360communication.ca/.
Tuula also worked for Deloitte US in India for 3 years as Senior Manager of the global firm’s Communication Excellence program to create new training programs on language and communication globally.
